A USI is a reference number made up of numbers and letters. Creating a USI is free. A USI is required for students undertaking nationally recognised training (qualifications, accredited courses, skill sets and units of competency) unless exempt. This includes international students studying in Australia. If you don’t have a USI, you will not receive your qualification or statement of attainment.
Yes, there is. By doing the online section, this significantly reduces the course time as you have done the pre learning. Don’t worry if you don’t have access to a computer, it can be done on your mobile phone. It is simple and easy to log into our system to do. If you don’t have a computer or phone, we do have options available for you to still participate.
Your first aid certificate is valid for three (3) years from the date of issue. The CPR component of the course is valid for 12 months and this will need to be updated annually for you to keep your certificate current. You will need to renew your first aid certificate once it has expired.
TalkSmart Training does require payment before the course. This can be done by direct deposit or Stripe.
Cash will be accepted on the day. Certificates won’t be able to be issued unless payment is received on or prior to the day.
